These benefits include monthly cash benefits and Medicare. They are not means tested. If a parent is drawing retirement or disability benefits from SSA or if a parent has died and was insured for SSA purposes at the time of death , then an adult child who is:
1. Unmarried
2. Age 18 or older and
3. Disabled (according to SSA standards) since before age 22 is eligible
