Many people view estate planning as simply the preparation of a Will to pass property at death.  Your planning should not focus just on your Last Will.  Good estate planning is much more than that!  Life time needs must be considered.  Your choice of financial decision makers during your lifetime may be more important to your well-being and that of your dependents than the components of your Will.  Choose the wrong person as your financialPower of Attorney and you may not have an estate to leave upon your death.  Choose the wrong health care decision maker and you may not end up with someone who views “quality of life” the same way you do. Make sure you have a plan that addresses how to provide for the special needs of a disabled, minor or dependent family member if you become disabled as well as at the end of your life. Take the time and make the investment to be comprehensive in your planning.  You and your family are worth it!
